Residents will decide whether or not to support study into the interconnection of water supply from Derry, Hudson or Salem.

Following months of debate, the Windham Town Council this week, decided, by a 3-2 vote, to support placing a proposed $35,000 water study on the upcoming Town Warrant.

According to the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune, selectman Ross McLeod was the deciding vote on the issue, which has been supported by Al Letizio Jr. and Phil LoChiatto.

Voters will have a chance to decide to support or reject the plan on March 11 at Town Meeting.
