TELL US: Did Dodgeball Debate Go too Far?

Many have argued that in the midst of several issues facing the district, it was wrong for dodgeball to be in the spotlight.

This week, the dodgeball debate was reintroduced in Windham following a consensus decision by the Windham School Board to accept a new recommendation to reinstate the games into the curriculum.

But with dodgeball once again becoming a cause for discussion, many have voiced their concern that the physical education issue overshadowed some of the other big situations facing the district.

Some of those include common core debates, the transition into a new School Administrative Unit in July, inking contacts with the district's teachers, adjusting to a new superintendent and high school principal, athletic fields, school security and finding an answer to the facility space conundrum
