The Windham Board of Selectmen voted 5-0 on Monday to permanently close the stateboard facility at Griffin Park. While the facility will be dismantled as quickly as possible, the board also agreed to consider re-opening the park if the Recreation Department and members of the community who support the facility can propose an alternative. The equipment will be stored at the Windham Police Station. One of the suggestions that has been made is re-installing the park behind the station.  Do you think this would be a good idea? Should the park just be closed for good? Perhaps another location in town is more suitable. Maybe you never wanted it out of Griffin Park in the first place.
