Town Seeking Businesses, Non-Profits for WHS Fair

The deadline to sign up is Sept. 20.

The Community Development Department and Windham High School are co-hosting an Internship, Community Service and Job Fair next week, and there is still time for local businesses and non-profits to sign up and participate.

The fair will take place on Sept. 25, with this Thursday, Sept. 20 being the deadline for businesses and non-profits to sign up.

There are limited spaces available, so those wishing to sign up should not wait too long to register

The department released a statement regarding the event:

The event is the first of its kind in Windham to try to expose high school students, as well as their parents, to the many local opportunities available for internships, community service hours, and part-time jobs with the businesses and non-profit organizations within town.

Participating in the Internship, Community Service & Job Fair is a wonderful way for you to expose students to your line of work/industry, hire employees and build on your relationship with the Windham Community Development Department, and the Windham High School.

The event is free and setup will run from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. on the day of the fair. The fair will then run from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at WHS.
