The Windham resident performed for thousands this weekend.
Windham eighth grader Emma Joanis sang before the largest crowd of her life on Sunday when she belted out a rendition of the National Anthem at a NASCAR event in Loudon, N.H.
Joanis, who has performed for the Celtics, Bruins and Red Sox, took to the stage for the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 Sprint Cup Race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Thousands watched from the stands, as well as thousands more on TNT.
She ended her performance of the Star Spangled Banner with a polite wave to the crowd, all of whom were cheering loudly for her.
