Windham High Gets 'Harlem Shake' Fever [VIDEO]
The web sensation spread its reach to the student body last week.
When a fad sweeps the Internet, there's no telling what will stop it.
Last week, at least 200 students at Windham High School were more than happy to keep that fever spreading.
Conducting their fun in the WHS gymnasium last Friday, the hoard of students put on their best rendition of the "Harlem Shake," a popular dance that has been performed on college campuses, in recording studios, living rooms and even military barracks.

Perhaps you have no idea what this dance even is.
The contemporary "Harlem Shake" originates from a song of the same title produced by Harry Rodrigues, better known by his stage name "Baauer."

This is how the meme works – for 15 seconds, one person dances like they've never danced before, with all others in the room seemingly oblivious to the dancer. That one individual is often wearing a mask as they groove to the hip-hop beat.
After 15 seconds, the words "Do the Harlem Shake" ring through the speakers. The bass drops, and for the next 15 seconds, mayhem ensues. Everyone does a solo dance, some wackier than others.
In the above video sent to Windham Patch by David McInnis, one student can be seen doing the worm and another is rotating his arms furiously.
One of the Windham Windup Robotics creations also makes a cameo appearance, along with several members of the school's band.
