Windham Man Found Guilty on Drug Charges

He received a suspended prison sentence of 1 1/2 to 3 years.

The Union Leader reported today that a Windham man has been found guilty on two drug charges that came about after the death of a 20-year old woman at his house last year.

Joseph Ida, 24, of 8 Bear Hill Road pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled drug as well as a second charge for having a spoon with heroin residue on it. He received a suspended 1 1/2- to 3-year prison sentence.

Ida was not charged in connection with the death of Ellie Morin, the University of New Hampshire student who was found in the Bear Hill Road home.
