
While Windham officers often spend their time apprehending criminals who attempt to perform vanishing acts, the Windham Police Officers Association has booked an well-known illusionist for a fantastic local cause.
Instead of bringing Matt Roberts to justice, they'll bring him to Windham High School, where he'll perform a special family magic show to benefit scholarships, betterment for police officers and their families and more.
The show is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 in the WHS auditorium.
According to a release from the Windham Police Officers Association NEPBA Local # 213, Roberts, a world renowned magician and actor, will perform an astonishing magic and illusion act that will feature fun audience participation and a magnetic personality that audiences of all ages will talk about long after the show.
Juggler Bryson Lang will open for Roberts, and tickets are available for a suggested $10 donation by calling 516-3421 in advance. Any remaining tickets will be available at the door the night of the show. Children 13 and under are free.
