Windham Rec. Dept. Offers Three Fall Senior Programs
Line dancing, resistance training and MAT classes offered.

Resistance Training
This class features a total body workout involving both seated and standing exercises. Exercises are targeted to improve muscular and core strength, muscular endurance, balance, and flexibility. The class runs on Wednesdayand Friday mornings from 8:30 am- 9:15 am at the Senior Center; (free weights are provided). You can choose to take it once a week or twice. The sessions are for six weeks; it is $28/session if you choose once a week, $55 if you choose twice a week. Class is taught by Kate Jackson, owner of TRI-KATE COACHING. Kate is an exercise physiologist and certified ACSM personal trainer with 10 years experience working at St. Joseph Hospital Cardiac Rehab and Wellness Center in Nashua, NH.MAT Class

This class entails a total body workout that includes both standing and lying
down exercises. Exercises focus on lengthening and strengthening of the muscles and core and at the same time improving flexibility. This class is offered on Tuesday mornings from 8:30-9:15 am at the Senior Center. A session is for six weeks, and the cost is $30 per session. Participants must bring their own mats. Class is taught by Kate Jackson, owner of TRI-KATE COACHING. Recreational line dancing is offered on Thursdays from 9:45 am-10:45 am at theSenior Center. You don’t have to be a great dancer in order to participate. The classes are not grouped in levels. You can try your first class out at no charge, to see if you like it. The length of a session is dependent on how many Thursdays there are in a month! Call Rec. Office for pricing info.
