The graduating senior was the first WHS student to receive the award from Derry Medical Center.

A graduating Windham High School senior became the first student from the school to receive a $1,000 scholarship this year from Derry Medical Center/Londonderry Family Practice.

Sarah Vivinetto was recently presented with the honor. The award was announced at a ceremony in late May.

The scholarship is typically awarded to students from Londonderry High School, Pinkerton Academy and Salem High School, but WHS was added to the list this year.
