"Kelly (Ayotte) has taken a lot of heat from some folks who are thinking that they are standing up to gun violence. Actually what they are doing is, a lot of these folks are very quick to take away Second Amendment rights that the framers of our constitution had in mind for us."
Letizio said that taking away gun rights is not the answer to gun violence.

"There are other issues and there are other ways to handle it. I think that's what some well-meaning folks just somehow get it wrong, when they want to take the guns and the gun rights away from the good guys with sort of the assumption that they can just make guns go away."
Others from Windham who joined Letizio at the private function included former Selectman Bruce Breton, who now serves at chairman of the Windham Republican Town Committee, and several firefighters from WFD.
