Windham Woman Arrested After Drunken Driving Crash In Pelham
Dorothy Godson was arrested and accused of driving a Ram pickup truck into a utility pole on Route 111a on Thursday.

PELHAM, NH — A woman from Windham was arrested on charges after a drunken driving crash on Thursday.
Around 10:30 p.m., police were sent to Windham Road-Route 111a for a report of a crash near Hobbs Road. When they arrived, they found a driver had crashed a 2021 Ram pickup truck into a utility pole.
The driver, later identified as Dorothy Godson of Windham, “failed to negotiate a turn” on Windham Road and crashed, splitting the utility pole, police said on Facebook. The pickup truck also sustained damage.

An officer accused Godson of being impaired, and she was arrested on driving under the influence and criminal mischief charges. She was released on personal recognizance bail to a sober adult, police said. Godson will be arraigned in Salem District Court on Nov. 28.
