Windham Woman Bagged for Alleged Prostitution

A local woman was arrested Thursday for allegedly soliciting sex online, according to Windham Police.

Nicole St. Germaine, 39, of 90 N. Lowell Road in Windham was charged with one count of prostitution, a class A misdemeanor. She was arrested at her home at 10:45 p.m.

According to police, St. Germaine has been under investigation for two weeks after they developed information that she was soliciting sex over the Internet.

A detective from the WPD made contact with St. Germaine, who agreed to meet the detective to perform the discussed act for a specific fee.

She agreed to meet the detective on Thursday at 10:30 p.m. at her residence.

St. Germaine was taken into custody without incident at that time.

She was released on $2,500 personal recognizance baill with an arraignment of July 15 at Salem District Court.
