Windham's State Primary Election Guide

Here is a rundown of the contested elections on the primary ballot for Sept. 11.

There are several contested races on the Windham ballot for the Sept. 11 primary.

Republican voters will be asked to decide primary contests for governor, Congress, state representative and county commissioner. On the Democratic side of the ballot, the only contested race is for governor. Here's a quick rundown of the contested primary races.

Contested Republican races:

  • ,  and  are all vying for the Republican nomination for governor.
  • Republican Congressman Charles Bass is being challenged by Gerald Beloin, Will Dean and . Also in the race is Windham resident Miroslaw Dziedzic.
  • Six Republicans are running for Windham's four state representative seats. They are Charles McMahon, Mary Griffin, Donna Mauro, Walter Kolodziej, Mark Samsel and Kevin Waterhouse .
  • For Rockingham County Commissioner, Kevin Coyle, Phyllis Katsakiores and C. Donald Stritch are all vying for the Republican nomination for District 3.

Contested Democratic races:

  • , Jackie Cilley and  are all seeking the Democratic nomination for governor.
