Whether Mom is a Swiftie, a shopper, a music-lover, or a foodie, here are five events going on this weekend in the Garden State.

NEW JERSEY —Looking for something to do on this Mother's Day weekend in New Jersey? Patch has collected a list of five things to do, including “Laser Taylor Swift” shows, food trucks, local history demonstrations, and more events good for moms and families this weekend.

Laser Taylor Swift shows (Gloucester Co.)

Taylor Swift kicks off a three-day stay in the City of Brotherly Love for her Eras Tour, beginning Friday May 12 – and if you couldn’t afford tickets or didn’t get a seat, a South Jersey planetarium offers this cheaper alternative, with tickets $5 or less.

Rowan University's Edelman Planetarium holds shows where a laser version of T-Swift dazzles the crowd with the pop star's biggest hits, including "You Need to Calm Down," "22," "Anti-Hero," "Love Story," and "Exile."

The shows run on Friday and Saturday nights from 7-8 p.m. (Read more on Patch.)

Bloom Market Festival and shopping for Mom (Atlantic Co.)

More than 30 local creators will be at Renault Winery in Egg Harbor Township for their “Bloom Makers Market.” Here, you can enjoy live music and “find a unique and special gift for the amazing mothers in your life.”

Vendors include Sister City Trade, Mermaid Metal, Nine Birds Studio, Burton Baby Design, and Ledwon's Sauce Co. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.

Travel back in time for History Day (Middlesex Co.)

Historical interpreters bring the past to life with a number of demonstrations at East Jersey Old Town Village in Piscataway on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Among the many activities for the whole family include home & hearth demonstrations, traditional musical performances, wagon rides, children's crafts, stone carving and even a 19th century print shop. There is also a dedicated children’s area, a historical tavern, and a general store.(Read more on Patch.)

Take your pick of two Somerset Co. food truck festivals

Two food truck festivals are rolling into Somerset County this Saturday, in Branchburg and Millville. Both events feature live music and a variety of adult beverages – as well as a choice selection of food vendors.

The Branchburg event, at White Oak Park from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., benefits the North Branch Volunteer Fire Company. The Manville Policemen’s Benevolent Association is a host of the other event at Rustic Mall beginning at noon. (Read more on Patch.)
