A single-engine aircraft crashed into a wooded part of Franklin Township on Sunday, killing the pilot.
The Cirrus SR22 plane had left Princeton Airport for Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Officials immediately evacuated the surrounding area, and are still searching for any additional occupants.

Woman Critically Injured In Stabbing
Police charged a man with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon after a stabbing Saturday night, which left a woman in critical condition. Officials say it happened around 10 p.m. at a home in Newark, a report said.
Driver Shot, Killed By Unknown Suspect
Officials are investigating the death of a man who was shot and killed while driving early Sunday in Mount Laurel.
A preliminary investigation determined that the victim was likely shot moments before he was found bleeding along Atrium Way at around 2:30 a.m. officials said. 3 Injured, Multiple Apartments Destroyed In Fast-Moving Fire
Firefighters in Edison battled a three-alarm fire that destroyed eight departments and damaged several others, Mayor Sam Joshi said on Sunday morning. Two people were treated for smoke inhalation, and another for a minor burn.
Multiple fire companies responded to the scene, and the Office of Emergency Management is coordinating with the Red Cross to provide assistance.
Motorcyclist Killed In Highway Crash
State Police said a 44-year-old man died Saturday evening after he crashed his motorcycle along a stretch of highway in Knowlton Township, a report said. The Warren County man was eastbound on Route 46 when he went off the road and struck a guardrail, causing him to be thrown from the vehicle.
