Here's How Much The NY Giants, Jets Are Worth In 2023
The average NFL team is now worth a record high $5.1 billion, according to a new Forbes report. That's 14 percent more than in 2022.
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — The New York Giants are once again one of the NFL's most valuable teams, while the Jets aren't far behind.
On the heels of their breakout season, the Giants are worth $6.8 billion, the fourth most in the NFL and a seven percent increase over last year, Forbes reported. The average NFL team is worth $5.1 billion, Forbes reported — 14 percent more than 2022, and a record high.
The Jets, meanwhile, rank 7th at $6.1 billion, growing by 13 percent last year despite their playoff drought growing to 13 years.

Here's where the two New York teams stack up
- Current value: Giants $6.8 billion, Jets $6.1 billion
- One-year change: Giants increase 7 percent, Jets increase 13 percent
- Debt/value: Giants 7 percent, Jets 9 percent
- Revenue: Giants $639 million, Jets $560 million
- Operating income: Giants $216 million, Jets $126 million
Perhaps the least surprising part of the report: the Dallas Cowboys were the most valuable team, at $9 billion, according to Forbes. “America’s Team” was the only NFL team to rake in more than $1 billion in revenue.

The Tennessee Titans saw the highest year-over-year increase in valuation, climbing a whopping 26 percent to $4.4 billion.
