New Snow Total Projections For Midweek Storm In NJ
More snow and ice is coming this week for New Jersey, according to the latest forecast.
Snow and a wintry mix are in store Wednesday as the frigid stretch continues in New Jersey, according to the latest forecast.
Precipitation will develop Wednesday morning and spread south throughout the state, National Weather Service forecasters said.
The highest chance of snow is in the northwestern corner of the state, which could see up to 1 inch, forecasters said.

A rain/snow mix is likely for the rest of the state, before changing to plain rain late Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service. That will continue throughout the day.

By the weekend, a series of fast-moving Alberta clippers could make for more chances of snow, along with keeping frigid temperatures in place.
"With fresh cold air in place by the weekend, another clipper storm that rolls through may bring a better chance of accumulating snow in coastal areas of the mid-Atlantic and New England," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Alex Sosnowski said.
That could start Saturday night into Sunday, and then again Monday night.

North Jersey

Wednesday: Rain and snow likely, possibly mixed with sleet before 1 p.m., then rain, possibly mixed with snow between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., then rain after 4 p.m. High near 42. South wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than one inch possible.
