NJ Man, 61, Found Dead On Appalachian Trail In PA: Reports
The body of the North Jersey resident was found in a wooded area near the trail on Sunday, according to reports.
NEW JERSEY - A New Jersey man was found dead along the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania on Sunday, according to multiple reports.
The body of Raghu Kodali, 61, was found in a wooded area about 3 p.m. near the trail in Lehigh Township near the Blue Mountain Ski Area, the Morning Call reported.
The search, complete with K9 units and multiple fire companies assisting, began late Saturday when Kodali didn't return home, Lehigh Township Fire Commissioner Rick Hildebrand told LehighValleyLive.com. Kodali's car was found near near the Blue Mountain Ski Area.

The New Jersey resident was from the Whitehouse Station of Readington, according to NBC Philadelphia. He was described as a diabetic male in need of medical attention, according to a search alert reposted by the Lehigh Township Police Department.
The Appalachian trail runs 2,190 miles from Georgia to Maine. It’s unclear how far Kodali intended to travel along the trail.
