NJ Teens Nabbed After Car Burglary Attempts In Wildwood Crest
The three teens face burglary, theft and resisting arrest charges in connection with one burglary and multiple attempted ones, police said.
WILDWOOD CREST, NJ - Three South Jersey teens are facing charges in connection with attempted vehicle burglaries in Wildwood Crest on Friday, authorities said.
The teens, all 15 years old and from Millville, were charged with burglary, theft, resisting arrest and related offenses, Wildwood Crest police said in a statement.
The charges stem from a Friday report of three individuals trying to break into parked cars in the area of Monterey and Pacific Avenues, police said.

At the scene, all three teens fled the area by foot, including running through backyards, police said. Police located all three and took them into custody soon after.
An investigation found that the three teens drove to Wildwood Crest in a vehicle stolen from Millville, police said. Three burglarized vehicles, all with broken rear side windows, disassembled steering columns and exposed ignition wires, were found where the suspects fled.

The trio were released on summonses pending respective court appearances, police said.
