These 15 NJ Towns Are Among The 'Hottest' Housing Markets In The U.S.

NEW JERSEY — More than a dozen New Jersey communities are among the hottest real estate markets for home-buying right now, according to data from Realtor.com.

Data for the "Hottest ZIP Codes" shows where buyer demand is concentrated around the U.S.

Realtor.com uses data on market demand and on how quickly homes are sold to determine which ZIP codes have the hottest real estate market, and releases new data monthly.

In the recently-released data for May, there were 15 New Jersey towns among the top 150 hottest markets. The company also puts out a yearly report; you can check out the 2023 one here.

"The hottest areas are those that have high demand from buyers," the realty site explained. "In other words, lots of unique viewers per each property listed for sale, and fast-selling homes, an indicator of limited supply. "
