This Is NJ's 'Most Beautiful' Restaurant, New Ranking Says

NEW JERSEY—Rat's Restaurant in Hamilton is the most beautiful restaurant in New Jersey, according to a new 50-state list from People Magazine.

People said the 50 Most Beautiful Restaurants in America list was developed by OpenTable in celebration of the magazine’s 50th anniversary.

“These super-stylish stunners deliver unforgettable dining experiences,” People said. “There are mountaintop chalets with modern rustic touches, glammed-up Art Deco mansions with a view, and mirror-and-glass paneled sky-high stunners.”

People said the Garden State's "romantic cafe on the artistic grounds of the 42-acre Grounds for Sculpture museum is inspired by The Wind in the Willows."

Restaurants in surrounding states that got the nod as the most beautiful are:

Verōnika in New York City: “Housed inside the avant-garde Fotografiska photography museum, Verōnika's Roman & Williams-designed interiors are a luxury escape,” People said.

SkyHigh in Philadelphia, PA: "A glass elevator ride to the 60th floor opens to waterfalls and 40-foot windows showing off stunning views of the city below," People said.
