Wife Of Yankees Exec Found Dead In NJ Home

Officials are investigating the death of Rachel Minaya, 55, who was found dead in her Bergen County home on Saturday. She is the wife of Omar Minaya, the former New York Mets general manager and a current executive with the Yankees. He was reportedly not home at the time. Read more on Patch.

South Jersey Teen Drowns In Lake

Elk Township police responded to Lake Garrison Saturday after receiving reports of a missing person in the lake. Authorities found an unresponsive 19-year-old male in the water, and determined he died from accidental drowning. The victim has not yet been identified. Read more on Patch.

Fatal Crash Reported In Stafford Township

Police are asking for the public's assistance in investigating a fatal crash that occurred over the weekend on Route 72. The crash happened on Saturday at about 7:40 p.m. in the area of Route 72 and Mill Creek Road, according to Stafford police. Read more on Patch.

Child Flown To Hospital After Car Crashes Into Tree

East Windsor Police said a 4-year-old child was seriously injured Friday night after a car collided into a tree on Hickory Corner Road, near an apartment complex. First responders transported the child to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in a helicopter.

The driver, an adult passenger, and another juvenile passenger were also hurt, and were also taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to officials.

Man Found Shot Dead In His Car

Authorities in Passaic County are investigating after a man was found shot in the head in Clifton early Saturday. Police got a report of shots fired shortly after midnight on Saturday morning, and found the man inside a Honda HRV near the intersection of Lakeview Avenue and Merselis Avenue. Motorcyclist Killed After Overturning On Garden State Parkway

A Stratford man was fatally injured after crashing his motorcycle on the Parkway South on Saturday, state police said. The driver, Jason Ball, reportedly lost control of his Harley-Davidson and ran off the road. The motorcycle overturned, and Ball was ejected from the vehicle, said officials.
