Thunderstorms, Flash Flooding, Humidity Targets NJ Thursday: See Latest Forecast
Sticky conditions will be followed by more showers and thunderstorms Thursday, bringing the risk of flash flooding.
Thursday will be a rather sticky, humid day before more rounds of showers and thunderstorms move in during the afternoon and evening, bringing the risk of flash flooding across the Garden State, according to the latest forecast.
The day will be warm, but "quite humid," National Weather Service forecasters said. Though high temperatures will be in the mid-80s, high dew points will make things feel like the mid-to-upper-90s.
Then, a cold front moves in, sparking afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, according to the forecast. Showers are likely to develop earlier than they did Wednesday, the National Weather Service said, and heavy downpours are likely to lead to localized flash flooding.
