19-Year-Old Critical After Asbury Park Shooting: MCPO
A 19-year-old was in critical condition after a Tuesday night shooting in Asbury Park, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.

ASBURY PARK – A 19-year-old was in critical condition after a Tuesday night shooting in Asbury Park, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
The shooting happened at approximately 10:32 p.m. when the Asbury Park Police Department responded to the sound of shots fired in the area of 2 Atkins Ave. and the Asbury Park Village housing complex, the MCPO said.
Upon arrival, officers found a 19 year-old male victim who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. EMS transported the victim to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition, the MCPO said.

Shortly after the shooting, officers located two male suspects, one age 19, the other age 18, who are currently in custody.
