AG: Asbury Park Arrest Of Reporter 'Won't Happen Again'
Attorney General Gurbir Grewal said a charge against an Asbury Park Press reporter was dismissed.

ASBURY PARK – Attorney General Gurbir Grewal said a charge against an Asbury Park Press reporter was dismissed after he was arrested during the George Floyd protests in Asbury Park on Monday.
Grewal said he knows officers "face enormous challenges while maintaining order during a chaotic situation."
He discussed this matter with local authorities and they were expected to dismiss the charge on Tuesday.

"We will also figure out why this happened and make sure it doesn't happen again. Because in America, we don't lock up reporters for doing their job," he said.
