ASBURY PARK – Asbury Lanes held a benefit recently to raise money for those impacted by the Australian wildfires.

The event raised $50,000 to support the Australian Red Cross, according to The Asbury Park Press.

The event included Australian food, games, trivia, live music from DJs, Des and the Swagmatics, Connor Bracken and a silent auction with a collection of prizes. It cost $20 to enter.

There was also The Flying Pie Guy truck that was parked outside, providing six versions of authentic Australian meat pies for a good cause.
