Asbury Park Mom, Daughter Both Battle Cancer: Asbury Park Press

ASBURY PARK – Michelle Russell went for a checkup as did her mother, Georgette Russell. First, the 70-year-old Asbury Park resident discovered she had stage one breast cancer. That inspired Michelle, 45, of Belmar, to get results, too, and a mammogram led to the same diagnosis as her mother, according to The Asbury Park Press.
