Asbury Park Beach Patrol is hiring part- (less than five days a week) and full-time (five days a week) lifeguards and EMTs, complete with paid training and competitive pay, according to a social media statement from city officials. Salaries range between $16 and 19 an hour, based upon experience. Beach lifeguards must complete a 500-meter swim in under 10 minutes.
