ASBURY PARK – A lot of partying has been going on at the Asbury Park beaches, police say.

The Asbury Park Police Department announced on Thursday that it's receiving complaints regarding open alcohol consumption, smoking and marijuana usage by beachgoers.

"This is a friendly reminder to all attending the Asbury Park beach," police said. "Alcohol or smoking of any kind is NOT PERMITTED on the beach."

This includes vaping, police said.

Officers are monitoring the activities and will enforce if necessary, police said.
