ASBURY PARK – The Asbury Park School District said it has new instructional work for your child.

Starting on Monday, the district will host “Operation Give and Take” at the Thurgood Marshall Elementary School and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for all students in grades pre-K through 8th grade.

During "Operation Give and Take," all students must bring back the preparedness packets that they have already completed to turn in for grading. Packets must have the name of the student, name of the teacher and the child’s grade level in order to be submitted.

Once a child’s packet is turned in, they will receive a new grade-level packet for the next two weeks. New packets will be in crates labeled with each grade-level. Staff will also be on-site to assist you with any questions you may have.

"We kindly ask that all families remain aware that the completion of these packets is mandatory. Your support is appreciated. We look forward to seeing you the week of Monday the 30th!" the district said.
