OCEAN TOWNSHIP – An Asbury Park woman was charged this past week on drug, weapon and prostitution charges.

Aminata Conde, 27, was arrested on Friday, according to Ocean Township police.

The incident happened at approximately 10:32 p.m. when Detective Michael Legg, along with Detective Steven Walker, conducted a motor vehicle stop at 735 Route 35, police said.

The stop was related to an investigation regarding prostitution in the area, police said.

The passenger of the vehicle, Conde, was identified and subsequently arrested for engaging in prostitution, police said.

Further investigation revealed that Conde was also in possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia and a stun gun, police said

She was ultimately charged and released on a criminal summons.
