Jon Stewart, Pete Davidson, George Clinton Headline 2025 North To Shore Festival

Stone Temple Pilots and Third Eye Blind will perform, plus Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as part of their 'Restless Leg' stand-up comedy tour.

ASBURY PARK, NJ — The North to Shore music festival returns in summer 2025 to New Jersey.

This is the music/art/comedy festival, now in its third year, conceived by Gov. Phil Murphy and his wife Tammy Murphy as a way to boost economic activity and bring live music and live entertainment to New Jersey cities at the start of summer.

The theme of North to Shore this year is comedy and music, and the biggest-name acts booked to perform are George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Stone Temple Pilots, Third Eye Blind, plus Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, as part of their Restless Leg stand-up comedy tour. The stand-up comedy trio of Jon Stewart (who lives in New Jersey), John Mulaney and SNL comedian Pete Davidson (he hails from Staten Island), called "Jon, John & Pete," will also headline.

The festival will feature live music concerts through the month of June. Tickets to all shows go on sale at 10 a.m. this Thursday; use the presale code EVENTS for early access to tickets. See links below to purchase tickets.

In the past two years, the festival spanned three New Jersey cities: Newark, Asbury Park and Atlantic City, but it appears to be truncated in 2025, with only Newark and Asbury Park hosting bands and acts.

In previous years, the festival included poetry. This year, the theme of the festival is "Laughs and Jams."

For the third year in a row, Prudential Bank is the North to Shore primary sponsor. In its first two years, North to Shore brought in more than $25 million for ticketed events and has drawn a total audience of over 500,000 to more than 650 shows in 250 venues in Newark, Asbury Park and Atlantic City, making it New Jersey’s largest summer arts festival.
