Historic Asbury Hotel To Close Ahead Of Sale
The Hotel Tides has been a staple of Asbury Park since its opening in 1885

ASBURY PARK, NJ – A historic Asbury landmark is closing its door ahead of a potential sale to a new owner.
In a post on its Facebook page, Ryan Jimenez, general manager of the Hotel Tides, which has been operating since 1885, announced that the hotel would be closing on Oct. 1, with its last day of business on Sept. 26.
“We have become an institution within this community. Through your unwavering support, we have thrived,” Jimenez said in the post.

“Together, we have created countless memories that I will always treasure. There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am to have been a part of your lives and your journeys.”
According to Jimenez, the suspected plan is for the new owners to renovate and re-open the hotel next year.
