Probe Into Possible Asbury Park Shooting: Prosecutor
A probe was underway into a possible shooting in Asbury Park on Wednesday, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
ASBURY PARK – A probe was underway into a possible shooting in Asbury Park on Wednesday, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
At approximately 1:35 a.m., the Asbury Park police were alerted to shots fired in the area of Washington Village, at 1287 Washington Ave., in Asbury Park, according to the MCPO.
Officers responded to the area and located a male victim with a non-life threatening injury. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The shooting is currently under investigation, the MCPO said.
