Flooding Reported In Long Beach Township, Sections of Boulevard Closed

The Long Beach Township police department is urging drivers to avoid sections of Long Beach Boulevard, which are flooding from the storm, according to a Nixle alert.

The Boulevard is closed from 73rd Street to 92 Street, the alert states.

"Please us the back roads and avoid driving through flood waters," the post states.

The police department is also reporting a power outage in the township, according to another Nixle alert.

The power outage is affecting areas from South 31st Street to 11 Street.
