Health Department's Potassium Iodide Clinic Rescheduled Due To Storm
Next Ocean County clinic is slated for March 28 in Manahawkin

Missed the last Ocean County Potassium Iodide Clinic because of the storm?
No worries. The rescheduled clinic will be held on Tuesday, March 28 from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Southern Ocean Service Center at 179 South Main Street in Manahawkin.
Any residents who live or work within the 10-mile radius of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station and currently possess tablets set to expire or do not have any KI tablets are welcome to attend.

Please bring an expired pills, some kind of identification to show that you live or work within the radius like a driver's license, property tax or utility bill.
"Please note that this clinic is being provided as a preparedness measure and not in response to any imminent danger or threat," said Brian Lippai, chief of administrative services and public information officer at the health department.

Residents may also pick up KI tablets at the OCHD Toms River office located at 175 Sunset Avenue, Monday through Friday 9AM to 4PM.
