Stafford Police Charge Pennsylvania Man With Drunk Driving

Arrest came after a motor vehicle stop on Stafford Park Boulevard.

A Pennsylvania man is facing drunk driving charges after Stafford police stopped his BMW on Stafford Park Boulevard shortly after midnight recently, Lt. James R. Vaughn said.

Police stopped Christopher S. Ramsey, 35, Reading, at 12:17 a.m. on Feb. 4. for a motor vehicle violation. They determined he had been operating the car under the influence of alcohol/and or drugs. Ramsey also had a small quantity of raw marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

He was arrested and taken back to Stafford Township Police Headquarters for processing. He was issued multiple summonses, including driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was later released pending a future court appearance.
