Traffic Pattern On Route 72 Causeway Bridges Reverts Back To Off-Season
One lane east, one lane west until next year's summer season.

Motorists heading over to and from Long Beach Island can expect some delays starting next week when the state Department of Transportation reduces the number of lanes on Route 72 for the continuing bridge rehabilitation project,
The lanes between milepost 21 through milepost 28 will be reduced to one lane east and one lane west, with no concrete divider, according to the Stafford Township police department Facebook page.
This pattern will remain in effect until May 2017, when the summer season starts up again.
