Bridgwater Man Accused of Carrying 10 Packs of Heroin into Courthouse

The man set off the metal detector while attempting to enter Hanover Township courthouse.

A Basking Ridge man allegedly had 10 packs of heroin concealed in a pack of cigarettes while trying to enter Hanover Township Municipal Court last week.

James N. Davis, 23, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance on Oct. 7, according to a report on DailyRecord.com.

An officer allegedly discovered the drugs when Davis set off a metal detector while attempting to enter the courthouse.
