4 Candidates Running For School Board In Bernards Township
Three spots are available on the Board of Education. Here's who's running.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Four candidates have filed to run for Bernards Township's Board of Education, with three spots on the governing body at stake.
Monday afternoon marked the deadline for hopefuls to file petitions for candidacy in New Jersey's school board elections, which will be held Nov. 4.
Board member incumbent Keith Molinari, along with newly appointed Smrithi Mohan, are both running for re-election to the board. Mohan was selected on June 16 to fill a vacancy on the Bernards Township School Board after Csilla Csipak resigned in May.

Nimish Amin, who has served on the board since 2023, did not file to run.
The candidate field includes two challengers: Adam Lefkowitz and Faisal Anwar Chaudhry.

School board elections are nonpartisan. But candidates can choose a slogan to appear with their name on the ballot.
