The new contest allows people to vote for their favorite NJ dogs, some of which will be featured on upcoming scratch-off lottery tickets.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The NJ Lottery New Jersey Top Dogs Contest is underway, and six Basking Ridge dogs are trying their luck in the running.
The NJ Lottery New Jersey Top Dogs Contest allows people to vote for their favorite dogs, and the winners will be featured on scratch-off lottery tickets.

Voting is limited to one vote per email, per day, until Sept. 12, so you can vote for your favorite dog several times over the next few days.
“Cast your vote for the dog you find equally cute and representative of New Jersey! And share with family and friends to vote, too,” an NJ Lottery statement read. “Winning dogs will be featured on the New Jersey Lottery’s upcoming Jersey Dog Scratch-Offs.”
