Basking Ridge Natives Graduate from Colleges, Universities in Region

Local college students have recently graduated from their respective institutions of higher learning with bachelor's and master's degrees.

As school years at colleges across the nation begin coming to an end, a number of Basking Ridge natives recently graduated from their respective institutions of higher education.

A number of students from Basking Ridge graduated from University of New Hampshire, in Durham, New Hampshire, Susquehanna University, in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, and from Lehigh University, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Haley Borcherding graduated from the University of New Hampshire on Saturday, May 16. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an option in Marketing.

Susquehanna University conferred more than 450 students at its 157th commencement ceremony on May 10.

Alyssa Moore graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing. Moore is a 2011 graduate of Ridge High School.

Lehigh University conferred more than 1,900 degrees during its 147th spring commencement ceremonies, according to the university. A number of Basking Ridge residents graduated from the university with a bachelor’s degree including:

  • Armon Shariati received a BS In Computer Engineering.
  • John Elson received a BS In Business & Economics.
  • Kelly Scott received a Bachelor of Arts.
  • Nicholas Kleinert received a BS in Industrial Engineering.
