Basking Ridge Woman Charged With DUI

On July 5, A 23-year-old Basking Ridge woman was arrested and charged by Readington Police for driving under the influence as well as possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Sarah Gomes was stopped around 1:30 a.m. for allegedly swerving on Route 202 north near Route 629. Sgt. Carlos Ferreiro smelled an alcoholic beverage in the vehicle and summoned Gomes to sobriety tests, which she failed, according to nj.com.
