• Basking Ridge Renews Shared Court Agreement With 3 Neighboring Towns (patch.com) — Residents of Basking Ridge will continue using a shared municipal court as Bernards Township renews its agreement with Bedminster, Peapack and Gladstone, and Bernardsville through the end of 2028. The pact keeps one combined court system, including shared judges, staff, prosecutors, public defenders, and security, and is set to take effect January 1, 2026.
   

• New Businesses Coming To Basking Ridge Area In 2026 (patch.com) — Basking Ridge residents can look forward to a new Little Gym opening at Highlands Village Center in early 2026, offering kids’ classes and family activities close to home. The area will also gain several nearby options, including a brewery in Peapack and Gladstone, a Land Rover dealership and indoor golf club in Bridgewater, and an Indian supermarket off the Somerville Circle.
