BERNARDS: Get Ready For Bayou In The Barn, July 16
The "Bayou in the Barn" Food and Arts Festival will begin at 6 p.m. at Farmstead Arts located at 450 King George Road in Basking Ridge.

The “Bayou in the Barn” Food and Arts Festival will begin at 6 p.m. at Farmstead Arts located at 450 King George Road in Basking Ridge on Thursday, July 16.
There is a $5 suggested donation for the event which will feature Southern cuisine, art show and sale, lawn games and music by the VooDudes and Half Normal, according to nj.com.
“Volunteers are needed for Bayou in the Barn July 16 to help with games, set up and taking donations,” according to Farmstead Arts’ website. ”Also need volunteer to serve as Treasurer, Construction Committee Members, Public Relations, History Specialist, Performing Arts Coordinator, Membership Chair, Grant Writer, Fund Raising Committee and Volunteer Chair.”

The musical line-up is as follows:
- 7 p.m. Half Normal - winner of the 2015 Bernards Township Battle of the Bands.
- 8 p.m. The VooDUDES - New Jersey’s own Mardi Gras party band.
Beginning at 6 p.m. Jane’s Kitchen of Basking Ridge will be serving up locally sourced, sustainable and organic southern food, according to TAP into Basking Ridge.
