• Active Shooter Training Conducted By Police At Bernards Township Schools (patch.com) — Bernards Township Police used the student winter break to run active shooter training inside Basking Ridge schools, aiming to sharpen their response to worst-case scenarios. Officers also rolled out a new online portal where Basking Ridge residents can conveniently file non-emergency reports, from harassment and scams to traffic complaints, with every submission reviewed by a local officer.
   

• Basking Ridge Renews Shared Court Agreement With 3 Neighboring Towns (patch.com) — Bernards Township, which includes Basking Ridge, has renewed its shared municipal court agreement with Bedminster, Peapack-Gladstone, and Bernardsville through the end of 2028, starting January 1, 2026.
