Bernards Township Business Owners Honored By Local PBA

Two of the Bernards Township PBA's biggest supporters were given silver cards, the highest civilian PBA honor, authorities said.

BERNARDS, NJ - Two of the Bernards Township PBA’s biggest supporters were recently honored by local police with silver cards, authorities said.

Khaled Maiser, owner of Ridge Bagel & Cafe, as well as Richard Krukowski, head mechanic at Bernards Township Public Works, were presented Thursday with the township PBA’s honorary card.

The silver card is the highest honor a civilian can receive from a local PBA, the PBA said in a statement.

“Both of these gentlemen have proven over many years to big huge advocates of our PBA,” the department said. “We congratulate you both on this achievement. Thank You both for your support!”
