BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Bernards Township Education Foundation (BTEF), a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities for students in Bernards Township, proudly announces its achievement of official 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit status and that it is officially open for donations and sponsorship opportunities.
This milestone marks a significant step forward in the Foundation’s mission to strengthen and enrich the educational experience of all Bernards students by funding innovative programs and equitable opportunities through strong partnerships with families, educators, and the broader community.
"All of us at BTEF are excited about this next phase because every donation gives in many ways. It’s a gift to the teachers, so they can bring innovative ideas into the classroom. And what better gift to our children than to make learning engaging and inspiring?" stated BTEF Co-President Esther Kau.

"The amount we raise will ultimately determine the depth of impact we are able to have. But, we believe our community will step up to support our students and contribute to making our district extraordinary by providing students with opportunities above and beyond what can be funded with the current BOE budget," stated Suniti Patel, Co-President.
Since receiving its approval from the Bernards Board of Education, BTEF has worked closely with all 6 district school educators, administration and families to bring awareness of the foundation’s vision to bring innovative projects, resources, and experiences to classrooms.
