Casting Call: Extras Needed For Surreal Fantasy Film Shooting In Somerset County
Extras are being sought to appear in the film "The Usher," which is filming Tuesday through Thursday at the Bernardsville Cinema 3.
BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — "The Usher" a film shooting in New Jersey and Somerset County, is casting for extras at the Bernardsville Cinema 3.
Jonathan C. Aguirre, Lana Peterson, and Robbie Anderson, the filmmakers of the surreal fantasy short film "The Usher" are asking for Bernardsville area locals to appear as extras/ audience members for the scenes being filmed inside the theater building.
In the story, written by Aguirre and Anderson, the fictional movie usher is more involved with the people and events on the movie screen than is strictly healthy. The Usher lives a secret life with 1940s film noir gangsters, 1980s bank robbers, and other shady characters, all the while being expected to carry a flashlight and show cinema patrons to their seats.
